MECHATRONICS

Mechatronics, which is also called mechatronic engineering, is a multidisciplinary branch of engineering that focuses on the engineering of both electrical and mechanical systems, and also includes a combination of robotics, electronics, computer, telecommunications, systems, control, and product engineering.

 

Industrial Automation Engineering aims to assist the Industrial Automation Engineer in planning, maintaining and managing the integration of machines, equipment, robotic, advanced technology and people into manufacturing process using knowledge of automation, control and networking.

 

The syllabus covers 70% of practical session and 30% theory class

COMPUTER SYSTEMS

Computer system courses

ICT refers to technologies that provide access to information through telecommunications. It is similar to Information Technology (IT), but focuses primarily on communication technologies. This includes the Internet, wireless networks, cell phones, and other communication mediums.

 

 

This programme focuses on providing personnel the knowledge for Computer System support and Technician such as Computer Installation, Maintenance Troubleshooting, Repairing, Networking and Monitoring of Booth Computer Hardware and Software.

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONIC

The scope of industrial electronics ranges from the design and maintenance of simple electrical fuses to complicated programmable logic controllers (PLCs), solid-state devices and motor drives. Industrial electronics can handle the automation of all types of modern day electrical and mechanical industrial processes. Some of the specialty equipment used in industrial electronics includes: variable frequency converter and inverter drives, human machine interfaces, hydraulic positioners and computer or microprocessor controlled robotics.

This programme focuses on providing personnel the knowledge for electronic equipment, appliance troubleshooting, maintenance, repairing and operation.
